Join us for Science Matters: Hands-On Discovery Day, a special community event presented as part of the North Carolina Science Festival (NC SciFest), a statewide celebration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Families and kids of all ages are invited to explore hands-on science activities in Cognition Davie’s outdoor greenspace. Participants can grab a Science Passport and rotate through interactive stations where they can experiment, build, and discover how science connects to everyday life.

This free community event encourages curiosity, creativity, and discovery for learners of all ages.

Bonus for Pre-Registered Guests
Guests who pre-register for the event will receive FREE admission to the museum from 10AM-12PM when they show their event ticket at the museum check-in desk.

Come explore, experiment, and discover why Science Matters!
