BRIDGE Birthday Bash: Celebrating Together
Monday, July 27 | 5:00 to 6:30 PM | FREE
Drop in anytime during the event! Siblings welcome!
Join us for a special BRIDGE Birthday Bash at Cognition, created for students with exceptional needs in grades 6 through 12th grade (age 22) and their families. This free evening is all about celebrating together in a fun, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where everyone belongs.
Families can enjoy bingo, decorate their own personal piece of cake, play fun party games, explore the museum, and enjoy light refreshments. While students participate in activities, parents and caregivers are invited to connect with other families, relax with refreshments, or join in the fun. There is no set schedule, so you are welcome to enjoy the evening at your own pace.
Never been to a BRIDGE event? We’d love to meet you! Feel free to stop by, explore the museum, and see if it’s a good fit for your family. There is absolutely no pressure to stay. Come for 20 minutes or enjoy the entire party. Whatever works best for your child is perfectly okay.
Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace, sensory bags are available to borrow, attendance is intentionally limited to help create a comfortable environment, and a resource professional will be on-site to answer questions and provide support.
No judgment. No pressure. No need to explain your child. Just come celebrate with us.
This event is free, but registration is requested so we can prepare enough supplies, and refreshments for everyone.
